BEFORE WE WORK TOGETHER

Privacy & service information.

Review this information and your service agreement before purchasing. Project-specific terms are provided with your agreement.

Your information

Inquiry details are used to respond to prospective projects. Client account details, uploaded files, requests, messages, and approvals are stored to deliver website services. Do not upload passwords, payment card details, or other sensitive credentials.

Accounts and payments

Client sign-in uses email verification through Supabase. Email delivery is handled by the configured email provider. Payment collection, when connected, is handled by Stripe rather than storing card details on this website. Operational storage is provided through the hosting platform.

Ownership and scope

Every paid project requires an agreed scope covering deliverables, payment schedule, revisions, domain ownership, third-party licenses, cancellation, transfer, and support expectations. The pricing page describes estimated package ranges and included scope. Your signed agreement records the services you select.

Care, revisions and payment policies

Revision rounds are consolidated feedback within the agreed scope. New pages, features or a new design direction require a separate approved quote. Corrections to our own mistakes do not use revision rounds. Clients provide final text, images and instructions unless content services are separately quoted. Care editing time includes reviewing, implementing and checking changes to the existing design and functionality. Routine hosting maintenance and correcting our own mistakes do not use editing time. Allowances reset on the first of every calendar month at midnight America/New_York; unused minutes do not roll over. New pages, redesigns, integrations, new functionality and work beyond the remaining allowance require a separate approved quote. After initial setup, SEO fixes use the editing allowance. Normal support is Monday–Friday; weekend emergency downtime support is included. Priority scheduling does not guarantee same-day service. No uptime or search-ranking guarantee is made. Backup scope and restoration coverage depend on the hosting setup recorded in the agreement. A single $35 fee per invoice is assessed immediately after its due date or a failed payment and added to the next invoice; repeated retries do not stack fees. Clients have a 60-day grace period from the original payment due date to resolve unpaid balances before services may be interrupted. Prepaid discounts apply only to care, not development or additional work.

Prepay six months of care for 10% off or twelve months for 15% off. Automatic renewal requires client confirmation; turning it off preserves paid coverage through the end date. Cancellation, refunds, renewal pricing, ownership, transfer and hosting-end arrangements are specified in each project agreement.

Standard project agreement terms

PAYMENT AND TIMING Unless the accepted quote specifies otherwise, 50% of development is due before work begins. The remaining balance is due after approval of the completed website and before public launch or final handoff. Timing depends on the initial payment, required materials, timely feedback and approvals, and approved scope changes. Care begins when the website launches, not when development starts. Any care payment collected at signing covers the first service period beginning on launch. Monthly care renews one month after launch; six-month and annual prepaid terms also run from launch. OWNERSHIP After full payment, you own the custom website and agreed deliverables. Content you supply remains yours. We manage your website on your behalf when you choose care; cancellation does not change your ownership. Third-party tools, assets and licenses remain subject to their providers’ terms. Our pre-existing and reusable tools remain ours unless the quote expressly states otherwise. DEVELOPMENT CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS You may cancel by written notice. Before work begins, the initial payment is refunded less specifically approved, non-recoverable third-party expenses. After work begins, the initial payment is non-refundable except where required by law or where we cannot fulfill our obligations. Completed work and approved, non-recoverable expenses are not refundable; any unearned payments beyond those amounts are refunded. Cancellation does not automatically make the remaining 50% due. Any additional balance must relate to documented work and expenses authorized by this agreement. Project-specific terms identify which paid-for unfinished deliverables are handed over. CARE CANCELLATION AND RENEWAL PRICING Cancel future renewals through the portal or by written notice before your next renewal date. Care continues through your paid period unless you request earlier transfer or shutdown. Unused prepaid time is generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we cannot provide the agreed services. Six-month and annual prepaid prices and included services are locked for the purchased term. Month-to-month prices may change with at least 30 days’ written notice, effective on the first billing date after that notice period; you may cancel before the new price takes effect. Price changes apply to prepaid plans only at a subsequent renewal. Extra scope requires separate approval. Six-month and annual renewal reminders identify the date, amount and cancellation instructions 30 days in advance. HOSTING HANDOFF After paid care ends, we keep the website online for up to 30 calendar days at no additional charge while you accept the handoff and arrange replacement hosting. This is hosting only: no revisions, content changes or ongoing care. We provide the agreed files and transfer client-owned accounts, assets and access where providers permit it. For nontransferable services, you must create replacement accounts and purchase subscriptions or licenses needed for functionality. We identify known replacement requirements. After handoff, you are responsible for fees, renewals, maintenance, security and backups. Additional migration assistance requires a separately approved quote. Our hosting ends when transfer is completed or the 30-day period expires, whichever comes first; the handoff notice specifies the actual shutdown date. Your website may go offline if replacement hosting is not ready. BACKUPS AND RESTORATION The project-specific terms record verified backup frequency, retention, covered components and limitations. Restoration from an available usable backup after a covered hosting or maintenance incident is included. Changes made after the backup, excluded third-party systems, reconstruction and work outside the covered setup may require separately approved recovery work. No universal daily-backup promise is made. SCOPE Included pages, features, deliverables and revision rounds are listed in this quote. You provide the agreed content and access. New scope requires written price and timing approval before work begins. Corrections needed to meet the accepted scope are distinct from additional features. Required cancellation and refund rights take precedence over these terms.

Electronic quote acceptance

Before signing, review the scope, prices, billing schedule and complete terms. Your typed full name, verified account, accepted version and server-recorded time are saved with an acceptance record you can download. Revised scope or prices require a new quote and fresh acceptance.
